| 1968 Truly Original VW Beetle Autostick $3000 113,923 original miles Solid body, no rust through including perfect original belly pan, some very slight surface rust, Complete except for carpet & mats, Correct all VW parts, All original with no post production modifications, Never wrecked, engine runs good, starts great, good tight steering, good tires & brakes, everything electrical works, Mighty Whitey is a daily driver with state inspection, autostick transmission second gear doesn't work(remember autostick has three gears marked "L" "1" "2") when I say second I mean the gear between "L" and "2", the Middle gear. It works BUT pop's out of 2nd gear when decelerating.With paint, upholstery & interior matting this could be restored to showroom appearance. I do not know anyone I trust to do the painting in such a way as not to reduce the collector value. |
